The entire nation is in shock with the recent incident that took place in Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. For the unversed, a group of terrorists opened fire at the tourists, and it claimed 26 lives. The shocking incident has raised an alarm again. Reports are claiming that several people have been injured after the incident, and the visuals have been trembling the souls of the entire nation. Among others, a real-estate businessman from Karnataka was brutally killed, and his wife recently recalled the horrifying incident.

While some reports claimed that 26 were killed in this inhuman act that took place in Pahalgam, other reports suggested the number of deceased to be 28. Among others, a Karnataka-based real-estate businessman was brutally killed in this terror attack. The deceased, identified as Manjunath Rao, was on a trip to Kashmir with his wife, Pallavi. As per India Today, Pallavi revealed details about the horrific incident that took her husband’s life. She said that her husband was shot dead in front of her eyes when the incident took place. In Pallavi’s words:
“It happened around 1.30 pm while we were at Pahalgam. My husband was shot and died right in front of me. “It feels like I’m trapped in a bad dream.”

Pallavi further shared that she feels trapped in a bad dream. She also mentioned that the attackers seemed to be singling out the Hindus. According to Pallavi, after her husband was killed, she also begged the terrorists to shoot her too, but they denied it and asked her to give this message to PM, Narendra Modi. Pallavi can be quoted as saying:
“I begged them to kill me too after they shot my husband. One of them looked at me and said, ‘I won’t kill you. Go tell this to Modi.’”
After the incident took place, the locals saved Pallavi, who revealed that it’s not easy to bring back her husband’s dead body from that height, and it had to be airlifted. In a video that went viral, Pallavi’s face was seen smeared with wounds, and she was screaming, ‘Save my husband’, while another woman recounted how her husband was killed for not being a Muslim. Another video of the couple from Kashmir went viral, wherein they were seen enjoying their trip and discussing their joy at staying in the houseboats. Such an incident, after a few hours, just left people utterly shocked.

As per reports, an 8-year-old kid was killed in the incident. His lamenting mom reportedly told the media portals how she wanted her baby to show snow, and lost the little one forever. In her words, “I told him we’d go see snow.” Another man’s wife shared how nerve-wracking the attack was. She said that the terrorists pulled her husband’s pants, confirmed his religion to be Hindu, and then, shot him dead. She recounted:
“My husband was shot in the head and killed simply because he wasn’t a Muslim. They asked his religion, pulled down his trousers to confirm he was Hindu, and then shot him dead.”
