‘I’m the kind of Person who will Always Keep my Chin up’

Over the last few days, Rajkummar Rao has been all over the internet not for his stellar portrayal of Srikanth Bolla from his upcoming biopic Srikanth but the fillers on his face that he admitted to have done 9 years ago. In a recent interview with Film Companion, Rao shared how he manages to stay disconnected from the sound around him.

“You want your views, you want your likes, fine doesn’t bother me, because I know eventually it’s the work people will talk about and that is the most important thing to me because I’m still the same person, I’m still the same actor, I’m still as hungry as I was 10 years back,” the actor told Anupama Chopra. “So it doesn’t matter to me honestly. I can disconnect and I’m the kind of person who will always keep my chin up,” (laughs and concludes)

Rao will next be seen in Srikanth, an inspirational journey of a visually impaired individual who gets into MIT and establishes Bollant industries. Srikanth is a story of the life struggles he faces and how he overcomes the obstacles that come his way. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth also stars Jyothika and Alaya F. The film releases in theatres on May 10.

The actor also has a couple of other projects including the much anticipated Stree 2, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Mr and Mrs Mahi.
