The makers of Suriya’s subsequent movie Kanguva launched a teaser. Titled the ‘Sizzle Teaser’, the quick-paced video exhibits glimpses of the tribe that Suriya leads. Much just like the title teaser, the setting is a foggy jungle, exhibiting the tribe’s rituals. Hints of an inquisition from the mainland are proven with ships braving storms to assault the tribe. The inquisition appears to be led by Bobby Deol, who performs a personality known as Perumaachi. The closing shot of the teaser exhibits an epic conflict between Perumachi and Kanguva.
Kanguva is written and directed by Siva, who final helmed the Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe. The movie is backed by KE Gnanavel Raja beneath the Studio Green banner together with V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati beneath the UV Creations banner. The movie additionally stars Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and KS Ravikumar amongst others. Devi Sri Prasad handles the music whereas Vetri Palaniswamy handles the cinematography.
