Mumbai is seeing a lot glamour recently, due to the Lakme Fashion Week. But in one other a part of city, the glamour went up a few notches, as The Crew stepped beneath the highlight.
Rajesh Karkera/ Rediff.com comes away impressed.
The Crew, led by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, guarantees an exhilarating cinematic expertise.
At its trailer launch, the venue overflowed with anticipation.
Media, followers, YouTubers, and vloggers packed the auditorium, and in all that pleasure, a realisation dawned on the organisers — that they had underestimated the gang’s enthusiasm. There weren’t sufficient seats reserved for the solid and crew.
But Director Rajesh Krishnan and his starry crew displayed exceptional humility.
Tabu, Kareena and Kriti didn’t hesitate to share seats with the followers and media within the auditorium.

The shoot maybe obtained them nearer, and the women appear to have one another’s backs.
So when confetti rained down on them, and a crew member observed that the glitter was nonetheless caught on Kriti’s hair, that is how Tabu reacted.
“We work with men mostly, so it was very refreshing to work with women,” Kriti says.
“Whenever there is a women-oriented film, people think that it will be a serious film, or there will be men-bashing. But there’s nothing like that. Women can do comedy very, very well.”
Rajesh Krishnan, identified for the favored Web collection TVR Tripling and the thrilling comedy Lootcase, directs The Crew.
“He has a sense of quirky sense of humour. He would take a simple line and make it more interesting,” Kareena says about her director.
The night took an surprising flip when this interruption occurred.
The movie’s songs Naina and Ghagra are already racing up the charts, and the women have so much to say about them.
