Meanwhile, the BJP and Shinde-led Shiv Sena criticised Thackeray for deviating from his father’s ideas by aligning with the Congress.

On Sunday, the celebration launched an outdated video of Bal Thackeray on social media platform ‘X’ during which he might be heard saying that he won’t ever ally with the Congress. “I will not let my Shiv Sena become Congress. Rather I would shut my shop down,” he’s heard saying.
