Director Imtiaz Ali, identified for his heartwarming romances like Jab We Met and Tamasha, lately shared a captivating anecdote about his debut movie, Socha Na Tha. In a candid interview with Mashable India’s The Bombay Dream, Imtiaz opened up about his preliminary reservations concerning casting Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan within the movie.

While Imtiaz has all the time admired Shah Rukh Khan’s performing brilliance, collaborating with him would not occur till his 2017 movie Jab Harry Met Sejal. During the interview, Imtiaz not solely praised Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen expertise but in addition spoke extremely of his character.

Despite his preliminary hesitation, Imtiaz holds Shah Rukh Khan in excessive regard. He acknowledges the actor’s immense expertise, but in addition highlights his admirable human qualities. “Shah Rukh Khan is an amazing person,” Imtiaz said. “His human qualities, he is maximum in everything that he does. He has a lot of capacity. As a human being, I will rate him very very high. He is more interested in other people than himself; that’s why he is such a big star.”
