“Earlier, farmers were treated with tear gas, but now the government is under their (farmer’s) pressure. Finally, they (farmers) have got permission to organise their ‘Mahapanchayat’,” Ramesh instructed ANI.


“But it is just to show that the government is sensitive to farmers. But they don’t have the intention to give a legal guarantee to Minimum Support Price or calculate MSP based on the Swaminathan Commission Report,” he added.


He stated that Prime Minister Modi is not going to break his silence on why, on the one hand, the federal government waives the loans of the industrialists however just isn’t doing so with the farmers’ loans.
