‘I am very happy that I am coming back to Hindi films’

The actress added how folks’s expectations of her have been exceeded after Farzi. “People saw me as an actor but I got respect as a performer after Farzi. People’s expectations have been exceeded by me. I don’t think they’ll want me to be in a film just for the sake of it,” she shared and added how “there are a lot of layers” to her character in Yodha. “I am very happy that I am coming back [to Hindi films] with Yodha. I am very excited for people to watch the film,” she additional added.

Yodha is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The movie is produced by Karan Johar and releases in theatres on March 15. Apart from Yodha, Khanna will probably be seen in The Sabarmati Report and TME, which stars Vikrant Massey. She additionally has the Tamil movie Aranmanai 4 and the Telugu movie Telusu Kada lined up for launch.
