Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai on Monday mentioned the state unit’s election committee has handed a decision urging members of the Gandhi household to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli and Amethi.
He hoped their names would determine within the occasion’s subsequent listing of candidates.
The Congress on Friday launched its first listing of 39 candidates, together with Rahul Gandhi from Kerala’s Wayanad, for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

On March 6, Congress district president of Amethi Pradeep Singhal had mentioned that Rahul Gandhi can be the occasion candidate from Amethi and that his title can be introduced quickly.
