Thani Oruvan and Irudhi Suttru Win Massive At The Tamil Nadu State Awards

After an extended hole of seven years, the Tamil Nadu State Awards for 2015 have been introduced lately. Movies akin to Irudhi Sutru, Thani Oruvan, and 36 Vayathinile received huge at awards, profitable in coveted classes. Whereas the Jayam Ravi starrer Thani Oruvan received the Greatest Movie – First Prize award, the Suriya-produced Pasanga 2 received the second prize. Madhavan’s Irudhi Sutru and 36 Vayathinile received different Greatest Movie awards.

R Madhavan and Jyothika received the Greatest Actor and Greatest Actress awards for his or her work in Irudhi Sutru and 36 Vayathinile respectively. Aravind Swamy received the award for Greatest Villain for his iconic efficiency in Thani Oruvan. Sudha Kongara received the award for Greatest Director whereas Mohan Raja received the award for Greatest Story Author.

The Tamil Nadu State Awards started in 1967 however went on a hiatus in 2008. The awards have been reinstated in 2017 when the committee introduced the awards for the movies launched from 2009 to 2014. The 2015 winners have been introduced after a seven-year hole.
