Dunki Debuts on Netflix
Netflix India made the big announcement on Instagram with a poster featuring Shah Rukh Khan. They said, “Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, @iamsrk is coming home… Dunki, now streaming on Netflix!” The film hit Netflix screens on Valentine’s Day 2024.
About Dunki
Dunki talks about immigration. The name comes from ‘donkey journey’, representing the tough routes people take to migrate. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the cast includes Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar.
Dunki wrapped up Shah Rukh’s 2023 releases, following Pathaan and Jawan. Director Rajkumar Hirani shared, “Shah Rukh liked the story from the start. After action movies, he wanted something different. It was great working with him.”
